LAS VEGAS (IHCT) – Firefighters battled a business fire near Jones Boulevard and Vegas Drive early Thursday morning.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue received the call around 5:08am on Feb. 24.

According to the Las Vegas Fire Department Tim Szymanski, when firefighters arrived to the Apollo Market on 1600 N. Jones Blvd, flames were seen through the roof of the commercial building.

A 2nd-alarm was immediately called which consisted of 25 units with 60 firefighters responding to the scene.

It took about an hour to get the fire under control.

There are no reports of injuries at this time.  The cause of the fire is unknown.
